Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jackson, MS)

Bluepeak Cobalt Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer estimates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
