Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Indianapolis, IN)

Westbrook Amber Auto Group Partners is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections.
