Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Indianapolis, IN)

Bluepeak Rook Press is a printer and publisher in Indianapolis serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
