Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Indianapolis, IN)

Greenridge Forge Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for landfill records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
