Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Clear Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Houston focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
