Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Granite Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Hartford plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 150 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for press runs. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with press runs. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
