Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Haven Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer orders.
