Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Hartford, CT)

Bluepeak Bright Markets Group serves neighbourhoods around Hartford with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 916 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with pricing. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
