Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Hartford, CT)

Ironwood Ember Construction is a Hartford contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for change orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
