Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Fresno, CA)

Amberfield Pine Press is a printer and publisher in Fresno serving local and national clients, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for print quotes. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with print quotes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
