Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Fresno, CA)

Bluepeak Ridge Construction Group is a Fresno contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for change orders. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
