Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Fresno, CA)

Amberfield Granite Markets is a Fresno retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
