Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Fresno, CA)

Foxglove Ashton Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Fresno, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 770 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for proof of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with proof of delivery.
