Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Ivory Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 541 people based in El Paso. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in El Paso. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
