Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Detroit, MI)

Foxglove Pike Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms.
