Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Des Moines, IA)

Harborlight Bridge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Des Moines area, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
