Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Dallas, TX)

Rivermark Sparrow Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Dallas. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
