Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Dallas, TX)

We are growing our team at Cedar Juniper Inspection Services Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for scheduling. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
