Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Columbus, OH)

Bright Drift Inspection Services is an inspection company in Columbus with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 657 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
