Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Columbus, OH)

Redstone Timber Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Columbus, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for materials orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
