Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Iron Construction and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 491 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for subcontractor invoices. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
