Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Colorado Springs, CO)

Redstone Drift Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Colorado Springs, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 97 people based in Colorado Springs. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
