Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Cincinnati, OH)

Ironwood Harbor Farms is an agricultural business based around Cincinnati, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with harvest schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
