Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Redstone Nest Manufacturing Partners and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 508 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
