Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Cincinnati, OH)

Bright Clear Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Cincinnati. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
