Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath River Markets Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for supplier deliveries, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
