Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Summit Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Chicago region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 663 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
