Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Bright Juniper Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Chicago with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
