Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Bluepeak Quarry Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Chicago focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
