Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Clearpath Lantern Construction Group is a Chicago contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for safety records. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with safety records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
