Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Wren Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Chicago, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for test reports. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with test reports. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
