Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Cedar Bridge Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Chicago. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for landfill records. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
