Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Chicago, IL)

Rivermark Haven Auto Group is a Chicago company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for vehicle inspections. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
