Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Charlotte, NC)

Redstone Juniper Foods is a Charlotte food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 92 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
