Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Charlotte, NC)

Highbridge Fern Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
