Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Northwind Nest Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
