Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Quill Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
