Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Cedar Beacon Manufacturing and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 94 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
