Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Buffalo, NY)

Lumen Linden Foods produces packaged foods at its Buffalo plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with sanitation schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
