Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Nova Bridge Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
