Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Buffalo, NY)

Northwind Rook Markets is a Buffalo retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with pricing.
