Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Boston, MA)

Greenridge Meridian Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Boston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for recycling loads. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
