Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Boston, MA)

Silverline Lakeside Telecom is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer tickets, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer tickets. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • Knowledge of freight terms.
