Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Boston, MA)

Ironwood Ridge Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Boston region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
