Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Boston, MA)

Rivermark Hollow Environmental Services Group serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Boston, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Boston. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for fleet maintenance. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
