Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Baltimore, MD)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Linden Freight and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for loads and lanes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
