Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Bridge Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Baltimore area, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 85 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for billing accounts. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
