Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Harbor Telecom Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for network equipment, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We invest in training. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for network equipment. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
