Summit Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 293 people based in Atlanta. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Atlanta. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
