Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Atlanta, GA)

Fernwood Field Markets Partners serves neighbourhoods around Atlanta with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Atlanta, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
